Shaykh there is a Salafi brother whose father wants to marry his sister off to an innovator. What is the position of the brother regarding this matter especially when he has told his father the condition of the suitor?
It is upon the brother to advise his father not to do this, for whoever has married off his daughter/ward to an innovator, then he has cut off the ties of kinship. If the father doesn't listen, then let him warn his sister against marrying this innovator. If they both refuse to listen then he has done that which is upon him to do and he is free from the situation.
