The ‘Allaamah Shaykh Rabee' Ibn Haadi al-Madkhali (hafithahullah) stated:
The amazement and magnification of the major personalities does not divert the seeker of the truth from following the truth, being fair and just. For indeed the truth has more right to be followed. It is not permissible to do away with the proof due to this tremendous person or that one. The foundation of the Muslim who is fair, the seeker of truth, is always:
Say: produce your evidence if you are truthful.
